A quirky handmade earthenware mug. Totally handbuilt using the slab technique. This mug would be a great gift for anybody who appreciates the handmade process. The mug is made out of white Italian earthenware clay. Once fired I have created a bubble effect using a teal glaze and then dipped into clear glaze to make the mug food safe.
I take my time to photograph all of my handmade items carefully but due to phone apps and computer differences, the colours may vary slightly.
To keep the mug looking at its finest I would advise that the mug is washed by hand in warm soapy water and NOT placed in a dishwasher, and also advised NOT to use in the microwave.

Please note that as the mug is handmade there will be slight variations in the form, texture, pattern and marks left by the handmade process. This is what makes each piece unique, gives character and makes it individual.
Handmade in my studio. No matter how big or small the ceramic item, each piece is hand-pressed by myself, dried, fired, glazed with 3 coats of glaze and fired again.
