An extra large ceramic handmade button with lace imprint detail. This button would be a great statement piece added to a coat, pashmena or oversized scarf giving the item a very unique look. Dimensions: Button: 66 mm Buttonhole: 5mm Thickness: 4mm (These can vary slightly as the clay shrinks in the firing process) Colour: Purple which has light and dark area as the surface has a lace imprint. Please note that the button holes are made by hand, so there will be slight differences and no 2 buttons will be exactly the same. The ceramic buttons are very fragile and can break easily so if the item they are used on needs to be washed, I strongly recommend gently handwashing. Handmade in my studio. No matter how big or small the ceramic item, each piece is hand-pressed by myself, dried, fired, glazed with 3 coats of glaze and fired again. ​ Due to the fact that each piece is handmade, you may find slight imperfections in the form, colours, texture, pattern and marks left by the handmade process. This is what makes each piece unique, gives character and make it individual. ​
